The Sunshine Coast is home to many Strawberry farms that offer ‘pick your own’ experiences that your kids will love. Most farms are open from June-October and your picked strawberries are charged by weight per kg. Not only is this a fun activity for the kids but it’s great knowing you are getting the freshest strawberries straight from the patch and supporting local farmers.

The ‘Strawberry Fields’ farm is located on the old Cob & Co Route, now called Laxton Road, Palmview off the Bruce Highway.

The farm has been run by the Carmichael Family since 1980 and is open from June to November.

This farm offers educational tours for school groups and is a great spot for children’s birthday parties with lots of green space, good size playground, cafe, picnic tables and home-made ice-cream.
