MAROOCHY BUSHLAND BOTANICAL GARDENS
If you haven’t been to the ‘Maroochy Bushland Botanical Gardens’ before its absolutely worth a visit! These beautiful native gardens are located west of Buderim in Tanawha on the Sunshine Coast.
Spread over 82 hectares and made up of eucalyptus forest, rainforest, lagoons and rocky gullies. You’ll find endless palms, ferns and native plants as well as plenty of birds and wildlife.
The gardens also contain a nature-play area with carved logs & stick tee-pees for the kids to explore along with dozens of sculpture throughout the gardens.
Make sure you also leave time to visit the Art and Ecology Centre and Whip-bird Walk.
Guided tours are also available and depart the Arts & Ecology centre on Tuesday morning at 9am (excluding public holidays & not available during Dec/Jan).
Toilet facilities, picnic tables and plenty of parking available.
No dogs permitted
The garden is open everyday
7.00am to 5.00pm (April to October)
7.00am to 6.00pm (November to March)
